I’m sure all of you are aware of Birchbox. It is one of the oldest, and maybe even one of the first, to come out monthly subscription boxes. I recently just subscribed again after a long absence and so far I’m glad I did.
Here’s What I received this Month
Stila Look at me liquid lipstick in Bella
This went on more like a gloss but quickly dried to a matte lipstick. I like most Stila brand products, but this was not right for me at all. First of all, the color was way to bright for me, and I’m not a huge fan of matter lipstick. I will say that it stayed on really well, almost too well. When I tried to remove it with makeup remover, my lips were still stained, and it just smeared all over my face. My 14 month old even looked at me funny when I was wearing this, and kept trying to grab my mouth. I’m sure this product will be great for someone. Especially someone who likes a long lasting lipstick. It’s probably actually better suited for someone a little younger than me too that could actually pull this off.
Harvey Prince Hello, Limited Edition
I liked this okay…It had a nice citrus scent and is good for an everyday summer fragrance
RUSK® Heatshift™ Re-Styling Cream
You are suppose to be able to “restyle” your hair using this, and it’s also suppose to reduce your hair drying time by 50% . I honestly couldn’t tell much difference in drying time. It did give my hair a little more texture, had a medium hold to it, and it does smell really good!
COOLA® SPF 30 Organic Makeup Setting Spray
I absolutely loved this product! I have been wanting to try a makeup settling spray for awhile now. This set my makeup up to a slight matte finish, and my makeup looked almost airbrushed and stayed that way all day. Not to mention the fact, that it has added sunscreen, and hyaluronic acid to lock in moisture. I will definitely be buying the full size version of this soon!
Dr. Jart+ Premium Beauty Balm SPF 45+ Shade #2 (Light/Medium)
This is another one of my favorites in this months box. I love the added benefits from BB and CC creams and this is actually a 4 in one. It works as a primer, moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all in one! This product provided moderate coverage, and is a perfect all in one for summer.
Overall, I think it was a great box, and definitely worth $10.00 If you haven’t signed up and would like to it would be really appreciated if you used my referral code here https://www.birchbox.com/invite/znd6m
