IPSY August 2015

This months bag from Ipsy was super cute in the Houndstooth Design. That is one of my favorite things about Ipsy, is getting a new bag each month!

This Month I Received

Albertini

Divine Skin Hydrator

This is an all over in the shower body moisturizer. After using this a couple times, my skin did feel slightly softer. I like the convenience of this product. You just apply it to clean skin while in the shower, lightly rinse, and the pat dry.

I really love how all these companies are coming out with more convenient and multitasking products, such as in most BB and CC creams, shower body lotions, and  in shower self tanning products ect..

While this did make my skin softer, its not something I would ever buy because it is unscented. I just wish it had at least a light fragrance to it.

La Fresh Group

Good Night. Night Cream

This product is made with all natural ingredients, and is suppose to hydrate and restore, making your skin softer and appear plumper. It also has hyaluronic acid, which I’m a huge fan of for it’s anti-aging properties. This is a really thick cream, which is good for overnight moisturizing, but it made my skin feel a little sticky and took awhile to absorb.

Doll 10 Beauty

HydraGel Blush in Flirt

I’m a fan of cream type blush over powder. It personally just works better on my dry skin, and I usually can get it to blend better. I really liked the color of this one by Doll 10, and it went on smooth and blended well, without feeling greasy.

noyah

Natural Lipstick

I received the noya lipstick sample in the color Desert Rose. I’ve tried several different lipsticks lately in hopes I could finally find one I like…so far I still haven’t had much luck.

This made my lips feel dry, and the color was a little too pink for me. Maybe one day I can break out of the same peach color type lipgloss rut that I wear daily.

I’ve read some of the other reviews on this, and most people who tried it really liked it. I think it’s just a personal preference for me, so if you like lipstick, you might want to give this one a try.

Lord & Berry

ultimate lipcolor and liner in nude

This is another great basic nude lip liner to add to my collection. It lasted most of the day, and its specially formulated to soften and protect with macadamia oil and waterlilly extracts.

Overall I would say this was a pretty decent month from Ipsy. While I didn’t like all the products, what I did like was definitely worth the $10 a month.

Can’t wait to see what I receive next month! What did everyone else get in their Ipsy Glam Bag this Month???

If you aren’t signed up with Ipsy and would like to, you can sign up here for only $10.00 a month
