Beauty Box 5 September 2015 Review

Here’s what I received and my thoughts on Beauty Box 5 for September.

Elizabeth Mott Tints & Sass Lip and Cheek Stain
This is similar to Benetint by Benefit Cosmetics if you’ve ever tried that. It leaves a rosy glow, and stays on well, without smudging or smearing. I personally really like this as a cheek stain, but find it too sticky to use as a lip tint.

Beautiful Nutrition Clarifying Treatment
The directions on this say to use this after your normal routine of shampoo and conditioner, and then simply rinse it out to remove build up and make your hair shiner.I usually use a clarifying shampoo at least once a week followed by a deep conditioner. I don’t normally use alot of hair products, mostly just some type of oil and heat protectant, but after awhile even shampoo and conditioner can start to build up on the hair, causing it to become dull and hard to work with.

I have never used a clarifying treatment like this, so I was anxious to try it out. It has a light lemon scent, which I really liked, and felt more like applying a gel since it doesn’t lather. You just apply it from root to tip, wait a few seconds, and then rinse. This product is also free of parabens, BPA phylates, and is cruelty free.

After using this, my hair felt clean, weightless and soft. Some clarifying shampoos I’ve used in the past can leave your hair pretty dry, even after using a good deep conditioner, since it is technically stripping the hair. I really like this product and would definitely consider purchasing this at full size.

Harvey Prince Sincerely
This is the second fragrance I’ve tried from Harvey Prince. The first one I tried in my Birchbox a couple month’s ago was just okay. I really like the scent of this one. It smells clean, isn’t overpowering, and I love having this is a rollerball.

I will admit, I still haven’t mastered the perfect contour effect. The strobing effect however, is much easier for me to accomplish, and I love the look of glowing skin with a slight shimmer. Bellapierre leaves a slight translucent glow and slight shimmer. Just be careful to not use too much, you don’t want to look like you have glitter all over your face. 🙂 Just use it to highlight areas, such as your cheekbones, brow bones, down your nose ect..

Be A Bombshell Eye Crayon
This product went on smooth and was easy to blend. I know the bronze smokey look is in for fall, but I just can’t seem to pull this look off with my pale skin. It’s a little too dark for me, but I’m sure would be a great product, for the right person, and skin tone.

Overall, I feel this was another great box from Beauty Box 5. My two Faves were definitely the Beautiful Nutrition Clarifying Treatment and The Harvey Prince Rollerball.
