Jelly Pong Pong
This product is lightweight and water based. I absolutely love products like this. This product works great to highlight the cheek and brow bone area, with just the right amount of shimmer to give that dewy look.
Matte Eyeshadow Pan No. 290
I received this in the color Aubergine, which is an eggplant color. It is hypoallergenic, paraben free, and infused with vitamin C and E. I’m not really in love with the color, but it went on smooth, and was easily blendable. I used this in the crease area.
Go Away Gloomy Day Serum
This product is suppose to give your skin an extra “boost”. It is also suppose to be anti-aging, moisturizing, and help soothe irritated skin. The directions say to apply it after toner and before moisturizer. Honestly, I found the product a little weird. It’s super runny and watery. I couldn’t tell that it really did anything, besides add an extra step to my skin care regimen. I will say, it didn’t irritate my skin or feel sticky, but that’s about it.
Full Exposure Mascara
I’m always on the hunt for good mascara, so I love when they send this type of product in my bag. I’m also a fan of most Smashbox brand products in general. I really like the full thick brush, and it made my lashes longer and thicker, without irritating my eyes.
Mini Matte Lip Crayon -Chili Red
So this is probably the third or fourth red lipstick I’ve received in the past couple of months from different subscription boxes. I wear red around the holidays occasionally, but I’m definitely more of a neutral type lipcolor girl. That being said, I like the formula of this. It is a matte formula, but is infused with vitamin E and monoi tahiti butter to help moisturize. If this was in a different color I would definitely wear it more.
Overall, this was a decent month from ipsy. I especially love the theme and bag. What was your favorite from this month?
