These are so much fun to make with the kids and you can even color them with food coloring!

Ingredients
  1. 4 cups all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup salt
  3. 1 1/2 cup warm water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Mix flour and salt, gradually add water and stir, then mix and knead dough with hands.Roll out on floured surface about 1/8 thick and cut with cookie cutters or into desired shapes. You can also separate the dough and add a little food coloring for colored ornaments. Poke a small hole in the top before baking. (we used a drinking straw) Bake at 250 degrees F for 2 hours. Let cool and then they are ready to hang.

We had lots of fun and made handprints, thumbprints, and shapes with Christmas cookie cutters. I even did our littlest ones footprints. I colored some of the dough with red and green food coloring and even mixed the two colors and cut out a few stars with them.
