Honest Company Product Review

Honest Company carries everyday items for the whole family including diapers, wipes, baby formula, personal care items, cleaning supplies, vitamins and more all delivered right to your door.

I recently was able to try a few of their products including the natural family essentials Discovery set and conditioning detangler.

Included in the honest discovery set: Organic Healing Balm, Laundry Detergent, Shampoo + Body Wash, Hand Soap, and Face + Body Lotion

Here’s a look at the individual products

Honest Organic Healing Balm is an all natural ointment for dry irritated or sensitive skin. It is a thick salve and worked great on my dry hands. This product is also versatile and can be used for eczema, diaper rash, minor cuts, scrapes and more.

This natural, non-toxic hand soap has the relaxing smell of lavender. It lathers well without being dry or harsh.

Honest Shampoo + Body Wash is another great versatile product that can be used by the entire family. It is tear free and plant based. My four-year-old loved the smell of this and said it smells like cupcakes! It also worked great on her hair. This 2 in 1 cleanser is also gentle enough for babies with sensitive skin, eczema, or cradle cap.

This laundry detergent is formulated to be ultra pure without any harsh chemicals while still removing stubborn stains. What I like about this is that it can be used for the whole family’s laundry and is gentle enough to use even on silks and hand washable items.

This ultra pure face + body lotion is another product that is great for the whole family. I’m usually pretty cautious when a product says it can be used for face and body because my face is somewhat sensitive. Surprisingly I used this on my face several times and it did an amazing job of moisturizing, isn’t greasy, and it absorbed well. I also used this for my 20-month-old after her bath a couple of times.

This conditioning detangler also has the same scent of the hair + body wash of sweet orange Vanilla. My four-year-old has hair almost down to the middle of her back, and we are always fighting tangles. I have tried several different brands of detangling spray, and I can honestly say ( no pun intended) that this one works the best. It only takes a small amount, and then I’m easily able to comb right through the tangles.

Overall, I loved everything I tried. What I love the most about the Honest Company products is they are gentle enough to be used for the whole family, even safe for my four-month-old.
