I’ve been a Birchbox subscriber for quite awhile now and overall I’m generally happy with what I receive. Some months are better than others, but that’s usually part of the fun. For only $10 a month I can play around with a few products and find out which ones I like. Here’s what I received from Birchbox for the month of March.

amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo – 5.3 oz-Full-Size $24

I was probably most excited about receiving this product. This stuff smells amazing, and really works! It also doesn’t leave a white residue behind like some other dry shampoos.

This gives cheeks and lips a nice sheer rosy tint, but I have several others like this and found this product just to be okay. In general, I’m just not a huge fan of tints or stains. It does have excellent staying power, though.

FHI Brands FHI Heat Hot Sauce Thermal Heat-Activated Conditioner Full-Size $16

FHI Heat HOT SAUCE is a lightweight silicone-free thermal hair protectant. I’m a huge fan of any type of heat protectant, since when I style my hair, I normally blowdry, flat iron or use a curling wand.

This product is applied to damp hair to moisturize, condition and protect. It didn’t leave my hair feeling heavy, sticky or weighed down.

My hair is really dry, so I also use a thermal oil type protectant on my hair when it’s dry, but this product alone would be great for someone with normal to oily hair, in my opinion.

These eye pads are 100% pure collagen pads for round the clock fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness. These are very soothing and really helped my oh so tired eyes!

If you’re a fan of eye pads, I recommend you also check out ToGoSpa Coconut Eye Pads which are equally amazing!

I received this in the color Aspen Pine. It has a shadow crayon on one end and a smudger on the other. I love the convenience of this product and the smooth texture, however, the color is just not for me.

Overall, this was a pretty decent month from Birchbox and for only $10 definitely worth it. What did you get in your Birchbox this month?
