Perfectly Posh Product Review
Perfectly Posh
I was recently approached by Toni, who is an independent consultant for Perfectly Posh asking if I would like to try a few of their products. I will admit, there are so many direct sales companies I usually try to stay away from them. However, I have seen the Perfectly Posh products posted on various social media sites and their products really peeked my interest. First of all, what caught my eye was the really cute and fun packaging, and they have a few products that seemed different than anything I’ve ever tried before. I was curious, so I decided to try them out!
In The Clear Face Mask
This face mask contains Peppermint and lemon oils with white tea extract and kaolin clay to deeply clean your skin. I have fairly sensitive skin, so I found the mask to be a little harsh for me. The peppermint was a little too strong on my face and left my skin a somewhat red and irritated. I don’t think this is a bad product at all, and probably would work great for someone with an oilier skin tone, it just didn’t work great for my skin.
Complexion Perfection & Moisturize 911
The Complexion Perfection Face wash has small micro beads to exfoliate gently while providing a deep clean. It contains grapefruit, peppermint and scrub walnut shell powder. Again, I also found this a little too strong and irritating for my skin with the Peppermint, but it may work great for oily skin types.
The Moisturize 911 contains aloe citrus and caffeine to tighten brighten and moisturize. It had a nice soft citrus scent, went on smooth and absorbed well. It left my skin moisturized without feeling greasy and also didn’t cause any redness or irritation.
LA PLAYA Caffeinated Lip Balm
This lip balm had a sweet citrus scent. It went on smooth and left my lips hydrated.
Key Lime Chunk Bath Bar
Next, I tried a sample of the Key Lime Pie Chunk Bath Bar. Perfectly Posh offers several chunk bath bars, which are like soap bars, but each one has a blend of natural ingredients and include palm and coconut oils. The Key Lime Pie smelled delicious. It’s highly fragrant, lathered well, and didn’t dry out my skin.
Enlightened Chunk Bath Bar
The Enlightened Chunk Bath Bar has a light fragrance. It was very moisturizing with shea butter, and olive oil in a palm oil base.
Brazilian Bombshell Body Butter
The Brazilian Bombshell is a rich body butter that contains cocoa butter beeswax, glycerin, aloe vera, Brazilian nut oil and babassu oil. It was very moisturizing and a great summer scent that reminds me of the beach!
We Put Da Lime in De Coconut Scrub
This scrub has a clean citrus scent and contains sea salt and sugar to smooth your skin. It left my skin smooth and wasn’t too abrasive.
Key Lime Big Fat Yummy Hand Creme
This hand creme left my hands moisturized without feeling greasy and has the sweet, tangy scent of key lime. It really is yummy smelling!
Overall I really liked all the products except the face cleanser and the mask. They just didn’t work for my skin type. The key lime and coconut fragrance in the bath chunks, scrub and hand creme all smelled amazing and are perfect for anyone looking for a clean, sweet and tangy scent that’s perfect for summer.
