What’s up Wednesday Wk 7

Happy Wednesday! Today I just wanted to share a few pictures from Mother’s Day weekend. Truthfully, Mother’s Day has always been a little hard since losing my mom, but I had a great day with all of my kids! I hope all the other moms had a great weekend as well!

For Mother’s Day, the only thing I really asked for was a picture of me with all the kids, not a professional one or dressed all fancy, just a decent one with all of us in it. As you can tell, getting us all in a picture and actually looking at the camera is pretty much impossible. 😉 I did, however, get a few cute pics of the kids by themselves.

I can’t be the only one that has this problem taking pics with small kids? Right?? However I see all these families where the kids are sitting perfectly still smiling at the camera, and the mom looks perfect with her hair in place. I’m not sure what their secret is!

Anyway, I love our imperfect family pics and think it shows all our personalities very well. 

Right before this pic I was telling my oldest daughter to “smile, and not make a funny face” 🙂

Yay! at least in this one we are all looking forward, even if my eyes are half open, and my hair is a mess.

My son also posted this on his Instagram for Mother’s Day. This was around circa 2001. I was sooo young and he was sooo little! They grow up soo fast!

And remember to take lots of pictures, even if the kids are making silly faces and your hair is a mess. These are the pictures you will one day cherish. Kids grow up too fast!
