Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle

I have tried several items from the Beauty Protector Brand, and they all have worked great and smell amazing. This product is a detangler and heat protectant all in one. It left my hair shiny and smooth and smelling like a delicious cupcake!

COOLA Classic Face Sport SPF 50 White Tea

This SPF sunscreen is made for even sensitive skin and has the scent of White Tea, which is a lot better than some of the yucky smelling sunscreens out there. I haven’t opened this tube yet, but I have tried it in the past, and I really like it. It goes on sheer and doesn’t leave a heavy or greasy feeling. I normally wear a foundation with SPF, but this will be great to use when the kids and I are out at the pool this summer.

Cargo Blush and Bronzer Duo

The blush included in this is a nice soft pink, and the bronzer is great for contouring. Perfect for achieving a natural “tan” finish.

Burts Bees Tinted Lip Balm

I normally love Burt’s Bees products but wasn’t thrilled about receiving this in my box this month. I didn’t find it very moisturizing, and the color was not that flattering for me. It is a soft hint of color but just a little too pink for me.

Vera Bradley Appleberry Champagne

Oh, how I love this fragrance! This is the first time I have ever tried this scent, and I’ve already been looking into buying the full-size version. It has notes of apple, strawberry, champagne and cedarwood. I’m usually not a fan of overly fruity scents, but this fragrance has a nice balance, and smells like summertime in a bottle! It also seems to last awhile and is only $48 for the full-size version which is a bargain compared to other designer fragrances.

Overall, this was another great month from Birchbox. I love being able to try out brands and different products for only $10 a month. Of course, some months are better than others, but that’s part of the fun, and it’s a surprise every month!
