Several of you were interested in the review I did of the Madison Reed hair color here, so I thought I would do a quick update.
Madison Reed offers salon quality hair color delivered to your door that contains ingredients that are actually good for your hair, such as argan oil, keratin, and ginseng root. You can order one box for $29.95 or $24.94 if you choose auto delivery. The formula is ammonia, resorcinol, and PPD free with no parabens added.
The color blends multiple colors to create dimension and visually add more volume. This creates a look of natural looking highlights and lowlights They also have professional colorist to help you every step of the way and help you with color matching to help you pick the perfect shade for your hair and skin tone.
I first colored my hair with the Madison Reed hair color the beginning of April. What I loved about the color is it was a thicker creme and wasn’t runny, so it caused less of a mess. It also contains no ammonia so no pungent smell.
Here is a pic of my hair taken a few days after I colored my hair with the Madison Reed hair color back in April.
This pic below was taken on Mother’s Day weekend so a little over a month since the initial color.
For some reason, it looks a little lighter in this pic. Both pics were taken outside in natural daylight, so I’m assuming its just the way the sun was reflecting. Also, please excuse the slight frizz, we had been outside all day, and my naturally wavy hair and humidity are not friends. 😉
Overall I still really like the color and plan on ordering again soon and doing a root touch up. (as you can tell from the pic I need) 🙂 They also offer a clear color reviving gloss that enhances the color and adds shine that I might also give a try!
