Goodie Girl
The Goodie Girl Cookie line was founded in 2010 by Shira Birk a mom and native New Yorker. She left her long career in punk rock PR with a stint as a fashion model. She wanted to make the perfect cookies for on the go lifestyles while still being accessible to the growing gluten-free population.
Goodie Girl Cookies come in 5 different flavors. Oatmeal Raisin, Toffee Chaos, Quinoa Chocolate Chunk, Midnight Brownie, and Mint Slims. I first tried the Goodie Girl Oatmeal Raisin Cookies in a subscription box and have been hooked since!
I do not actively seek or normally purchase Gluten Free items. Honestly, some of the gluten-free items I’ve tried in the past have left a really bad aftertaste, so I’ve been put off by a lot of gluten free items.
However, Goodie Girl Cookies taste amazing! There’s no aftertaste, and they are full of flavor. My sister has been gluten free for several years now, and I’ve been telling her how she has to try them. If she lived closer, I would share, but I may just have to send her some.
Quinoa Chocolate Chunk
The Quinoa Chocolate Chunk cookies have huge chocolate chips, are delicious and full of flavor!
Midnight Brownie
If you’re a chocolate lover like myself, then you will love these! They are just like a crunchy brownie without all the nasty hydrogenated fats and preservatives like some other store bought cookies.
Toffee Chaos
I think I may have a new favorite here! These are the perfect combination of rich buttery toffee and chocolate chips. They are crunchy with just the right amount of sweetness.
Quinoa Choco Chip Go Pack
Goodie Girl Cookies also offers convenient “Go Packs” These are perfect for people with active lifestyles, and I even sent a bag with my daughter in her lunch for Summer school this week. She loves them!
All of the cookies I tried were delicious! It’s hard to pick a favorite, but the Toffee Chaos would be pretty close followed by the Oatmeal Raisin that I still love. None of the cookies left a bad aftertaste and are crunchy with tons of flavor. These are perfect for the Gluten Free population and even those who aren’t exclusively gluten-free like me. They are super addicting and much better for you than most other cookie varieties out there.
