Glysolid Skin Cream Review + Free Samples

Glysolid is a skin cream from Germany that has been around for over 70 years. It contains allantoin and a high glycerin content that makes your skin silky smooth after just one application.

I actually first discovered Glysolid when I worked as a cosmetologist. My hands were constantly in and out of water, shampooing hair, doing perms, washing my hands, etc. and my hands really took a beating!

They sold Glysolid at our local State Beauty Supply for cosmetologist, and I had seen others in the salon use it, so I decided to pick up a jar one day. It worked wonders for my hands!

Then I used it again many times after I became a nurse when my hands really started to peel and crack, from frequent washing and sanitizing  throughout the day.

One thing I really like about Glysolid is it’s thick but still absorbs fairly fast. It adds a protective coating to the skin after it’s applied to really help lock in moisture. It also lasts for hours without the need to constantly reapply.

Besides just using on your hands, Glysolid can also be used as a daily all over moisturizer, on dry, cracked feet, and as a lip balm. It can even be used on problem skin such as psoriases and can help soothe and relief the itching from eczema. Glysolid is even suitable for those with sensitive skin.

Things you won’t find in Glysolid

  • parabens
  • petroleum
  • fillers
  • perfumes
  • coloring
  • preservatives

Glysolid is available in four sizes:

6.76 fl oz. Jar

3.38 fl oz Jar

2.54 fl oz Tube

1 fl oz Tube

I like to keep the jar to use after I get out of the bath or shower and keep a tube on my desk. The smaller tube size is also perfect to keep in my purse.

Glysolid is an amazing cream and has been one of my favorites for years. While my hands don’t get dried and cracked as bad as they did when I was working, I have always suffered from dry skin and my skin is especially drier in the wintertime. I also never thought or knew you could use it as a lip balm, but it will really come in handy this winter when my lips get chapped.

I have recently started using it again right after I get out of the shower or bath before bed, and when I wake up in the morning my skin feels amazing! It’s thick and creamy without feeling greasy.
