ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription for $10 a month. Each month you receive 4-5 items plus a cute bag. This will actually be my last bag for awhile. While I love ipsy, and most of the time receive great products, I am swimming in sample beauty products!
I’m sure I will come back to ipsy, but just want to use up what I have first. For the record, I also canceled my Birchbox this month as well.
I plan on getting more boxes from Stitch Fix, as clothes are something I’m in need of much more than makeup/beauty items right now. Not to mention, as a busy mom I rarely have time to shop for myself, and I love being able to try the items on at home!
Here’s What I received for September
Powerful Priming Serum in Truth
This product corrects like a serum and works like a primer. It goes on smooth and works great alone or under makeup. One thing I like about this company is the donate 1% of their annual profit to She’s the First, a non-profit that supports first-gen female high school grads in low-income countries.
Eyes by ToGoSpa in Green Tea EYES
I have been a huge fan of ToGoSpa for quite awhile. They have their own subscription which you can read my review on here. The Green Tea Eyes are super soothing and really help to decrease puffiness. They contain aloe, vitamin c & e and amino acids for moisturizing.
Lip Injection Extreme
I was super happy to see this in my bag this month! There was a product (actually there still is) called Lip Venom by Duwop that I use to use several times a day.
I would go through about a tube a week, and it cost about $17, so it became kind of an expensive habit. I was not blessed with full lips, and have always dreamed of having fuller lips without getting actual injections, so I love products like these. The Too Face Lip Injection made my lips fuller and gave them a nice bee stung look to them. (sorry I don’t have a picture) I personally love the intense tingling
GLOW for a cause
BODY BUTTER Inspire
This body butter is super moisturizing and contains Coconut, jojoba, sunflower oils. It also has an amazing scent of Bergamot, jasmine, and vanilla.
Eye Do Liquid Eyeliner in Black
I own several EYEKO eyeliners and love them. It features almost a sharpie like tip so it’s easier to get a precision line. It’s also waterproof.
Like I said this is my last ipsy bag for awhile, but if you would like to try ipsy for only $10 a month you can sign up here.
