My love of reading started when I was very young. I remember my parents reading to me and always begging for them to read just one more book! As I got older, I would read on my own and really enjoyed learning about new places and things. Now that I have kids of my own, I really try to also foster the love of reading with them.
My 6-year-old has quiet reading time every night, and my 2 and 3-year-old love when I read to them. In today’s society, I think it’s so important to instill the love of reading, and to get them in the habit early. Reading helps develop vocabulary and is vital in everyday life and to their futures!
DK is the world’s largest illustrated reference publisher, and they publish highly visual photographic non-fiction for adults and children. DK covers everything from Animals, and the human body, to homework help and even craft how-to books. Their books are really great for visual learners!
My oldest daughter loves stickers, like most kids her age. The DC Comics Wonder Woman Ultimate Sticker Collection is loaded with over 1,00 stickers and facts about Wonder Woman! I plan on adding this to her Christmas Stocking this year, and I know she will love it! If you have a Wonder Woman Fan in your house, you can purchase the book online on Amazon, or at Barnes and Noble or Books a Million.
I ordered the Spot the Difference Out and About book for my youngest daughter. It is perfect for curious little learners for ages 2-5. It encourages kids to recognize patterns and use logical thinking skills. This is another book that I plan on putting in my daughters stocking for Christmas, but it’s such a cute, bright and fun book, and I know she will love it! You can also find this book online on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble or Books a Million.
DK has many books to choose from, including board books for babies, teenagers, and even adults! You can see all the books they offer, find retailers, and even sign up for their newsletter by going to https://www.dk.com/us/
