If your garden is big enough to have a tree house in it, then definitely consider building one. When building the tree house, be sure to use polycarbonate sheet for the windows. This is better than glass as it’s less likely to break. Make sure you don’t build the tree house too high, as it will make accessing the tree house very hard.

Re-Design Your Child’s Bedroom
Re-designing your child’s bedroom is a great DIY project which the whole family will love to do! It’s a chance for your children to get very creative and choose items, paint colors and furniture for their room.
Start with an idea book. What theme would your child like? You can start to gather ideas through Pinterest and decide what theme/ style your son wants in his room. Once you have a theme in mind you can then start to sketch out the new floor plan for the bedroom.
To keep it cheaper, try and incorporate items and furniture which you already have in the bedroom. However, make sure to get some new bits and pieces in order to give the room more character and a newer feel.
Baking a Cake
Who doesn’t love cake? Baking a cake as a family is a really great bonding experience. Family’s tend to have very similar taste’s therefore, picking a cake that everyone likes is very easy! You can set everyone roles within the family and have a great time baking a delicious cake! Once the cake is ready, you can sit down and enjoy it, knowing you’ve put the effort in to make it together.
You could consider making it a weekly activity which you all participate in. This will not only allow you to spend quality time together as a family, but teach the children how to bake. This is a skill they will use throughout their life, making it a great activity to do together.
