Mississippi Roast
Most of the time I make my go-to crockpot roast which includes the roast, onion soup mix, carrots, and potatoes in the crockpot, but this Mississippi Roast is always a close second!
It only takes a few ingredients and it’s literally a dump and go recipe, which I love! The Au Jus sauce also makes an excellent gravy, and it goes great with mashed potatoes or noodles.
If you haven’t tried this recipe, you definitely should!
- chuck roast (3-4 lbs)
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix ( 1 oz)
- 1 packet au jus gravy mix (1 oz)
- ¼ butter
- 5-6 pepperoncini peppers
- Place roast in the crockpot and sprinkle the packet of ranch dressing and au jus gravy mix on roast. Place the peppers on top along with butter.
- Cook on LOW 6-8 hours.
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles
Pepperoncini, Au Jus Gravy Mix and Ranch Dip Mix.
This recipe couldn’t be any easier; just sprinkle the roast with the ranch mix packet, au jus gravy packet, and add the pepperoncini and butter on top, then cook on low in the crockpot.
Tender, delicious and packed with flavor!
