Simply Earth is one of my favorite subscription boxes! Not only do they send you essential oils monthly, but they also send recipes and extras, such as bottles, coconut oil and more along with recipes to use your oils.
Another thing that’s great about Simply Earth is they donate 13% of all proceeds to prevent and help stop human trafficking. Right now they are currently working with disruptingtraffick.org an organization that does outreach to bars, casinos and more across the state of Nebraska and offers tangible items to meet the basic needs of survivors. They also help to educate the community on the issue of sex trafficking.
The monthly subscription price is $39 for 3-4 essential oils plus recipes and extras. Right now when you sign up (use link here), you can receive a HUGE bonus box full of extras such as bottles, rollerballs, beeswax, coconut oil and more, in addition to your monthly box!
Use the code AMYBLAIRFREE and also receive a $20 gift card after your first month plus the bonus box!. Needless to say, that’s an amazing deal, and you can cancel at any time!
Here’s what I received for April including the HUGE bonus box!
Here’s a closer look at the bonus box
This month was all about cleaning and keeping your home fresh!
This month I received Clean & Fresh, Thyme, Basil, and Grapefruit essential oils. Also included this month were dryer balls and recipe cards to make an all-purpose cleaning spray, deodorizing disks, bathroom poo spray, and dishwasher tablets.
The first recipe I tried was the all-purpose cleaning spray and poo spray. I have an all-purpose cleaner that I make and use all the time, but I was excited to try this one using the new oil Clean & Fresh!
I have to say; it works really well. I used it on my mirrors, and counters, and I love the scent of the clean and fresh essential oil.
Next, I made the bathroom poo spray which is to spray in the toilet before you go to help add the evidence. The recipe called for water, rubbing alcohol and drops of orange and basil basil essential oil.
Next, I scented the dryer balls with the clean and fresh scent. I washed my sheets and pillowcases and then threw the dryer balls in with them to dry, and they smell amazing!
The Clean and Fresh oil is definitely becoming one of my favorites! It says its a blend of fir needle, lemon, grapefruit and neroli oil – definitely a fresh scent!
Also included in this box was a recipe to make dishwasher tablets. Unfortunately, I don’t have a dishwasher–yes, I wash everything by hand..ugh.. so I didn’t make these.
There’s also a recipe card for deodorizing disks to place in the garbage, fridge, or anywhere that needs a fresh scent. I haven’t had a chance to make these yet, but hopefully within the next week or so I can make them, and will share on the blog.
Overall, this was another great month from Simply Earth! I loved all the natural cleaning recipes and oils included this month, just in time for Spring cleaning!
