1. Sound Reducing Sensory Hoodie $50 This hoodie has been a gamechanger in our family. My 9 year old has autism and struggles with sensory overload especially when we are in stores at a function with lots of noise. She has noise cancelling headphones, but takes them off and prefers to just cover her ears.
This Sound Reducing Hoodie from Sense-Ational You has specialized material in the hood that blocks 10-30 decibels of sound depending on frequency. It also features an eye mask that kids can pull down or fold up and features magnetic a magnetic button closure.
My daughter actually asks for this every time before we leave the house, and wears the hood up to help block noise! She also loves the magnetic closure she can do by herself!
This would make a great practical gift that they will actually use for anyone you love who has autism or sensory processing disorder. They also have adult sizes as well as other clothing items that come without tags and other specialty designs for those with sensory issues.
2. Kids Crafts Kit $14.99- 24.99– Kids Crafts is actually something my kids have enjoyed for several years. They feature curated boxes that empower young girls and creativity. Each kit features trailblazing women, their stories, and a fun craft to go along with it such as wall art weaving kit, make and sell keychain craft and more.
I especially love this craft kit more than others I’ve bought for the girls because it educates, provides entertainment and while they have fun with them it isn’t something that takes hours or days to do and they don’t end up frustrated with it. This gift is great for the next generation of young CEOS or trailblazing girls!
3. Lumipets Wall Plug-in $15.99 I’m sure many of you have hear or even have the original LumiPets. Now, they have come out with smart wall plug ins that feature a dusk to dawn feature that automatically comes on and shuts off. They come in a 3 pack of a cute tiger, cat, and owl.
This makes a great practical gift for little ones who are afraid of the dark or to just establish a good bedtime routine. We have one in each of the kids rooms and the bathroom. I love how you don’t have to manually turn it off and on and it produces a soft glow.
4. COOKEEZ MAKERY $29.86 (different prices depending on which one and where you buy) This is a hot toy item this year and one my girls personally asked for. The oven makes a sweet dream, and out comes yummy scented plush animal. First kids have to form a dough ball with the ingredients and follow the instructions, once they put it in the oven it dings after awhile and either a sweet scented plushie comes out. I think it such a cute idea and I love how its interactive for kids. This would make a great gift for almost any kid ages 5 and up
