Crockpot Porcupine Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (uncooked)
  • 1 medium sized egg
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 small onion (finely diced)
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 cup rice (uncooked)
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • cooked rice (to serve over)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine ground beef, egg, garlic, onion, seasoned salt, and rice.

  2. Use hands to combine the mixture and shape into balls. (should make approximately 16-20 then place in the bottom of the crockpot.

  3. In another medium-sized bowl mix water, tomato sauce, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce.

  4. Pour the tomato sauce based mixture over the meatballs and cook on low 6-7 Hours

  5. Serve over white/brown rice
