Ingredients

  • white vinegar
  • fresh mint leaves
  • 5-10 drops peppermint essential oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse and pat dry mint leaves

  2. Place mint leaves in a glass jar and pour over vinegar leaving about one-inch headspace at the top. Close the lid and shake.

  3. Let the mixture sit for 2-3 weeks away from sunlight. Shake the mixture every few days

  4. After 2-3 weeks remove the lid from the jar and discard the mint leaves. You can also drain the mixture with a coffee filter or cheesecloth to remove any sediment.

  5. To use: Mix a 1:1 ratio with water and put in a spray bottle with essential oils, if using. Use it to clean countertops, floors, glass and more. DO NOT USE on granite, marble, hardwood floors or painted surface. If you have any doubt, make sure to do a test spot first.
