Holiday Shadow Box Using Cricut Explore Air 2

Christmas themed holiday shadow box using Cricut Explore Air 2 and design space.

Instructions

  1. Go to design space, cut your vinyl and weed out the lettering.

  2. Place transfer tape over the design and scrape over the lettering with the scraper.

  3. Place the cut vinyl with transfer tape on the outside of the glass on your picture frame or shadowbox. Slowly remove the transfer tape and discard it.

  4. Remove the backing of the frame and turn the frame with glass over. Place jingle bells against the bottom of the glass.

  5. Turn the canvas backward to where the canvas part is facing outwards.

  6. Glue cardstock or wrapping paper to the inside of the canvas. (make sure to cut to trim the cardstock or paper to fit first)

  7. Using a hot glue gun or super glue, glue down the canvas to the back of the picture frame.

***If using a premade shadow box simply place the cut vinyl on the outside of the frame and add your cardstock and jingle bells to the inside of the shadowbox.
