Classic Stuffed Bell Peppers in the Crockpot

This is just your basic, but oh so good, stuffed pepper recipe. Even better because it’s made in the crockpot! These are always a big hit at my house, and so easy to make!

Cook Time: 6 hours

Serving Size: 5-6

Delicious classic stuffed bell peppers made in the crockpot!


  • 5-6 large bell peppers, any color
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1lb. ground chuck
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


  • 1.cut tops of bell peppers and remove seeds, then place in slow cooker
  • 2.brown ground chuck over med heat until cooked thoroughly and drain
  • medium size bowl mix cooked ground chuck, cooked rice, cheese, diced tomatoes, ketchup & Worcestershire sauce
  • 4.fill each bell pepper with meat mixture
  • with cheese
  • 6.cook on LOW 6 hours
  • To save even more time I use minute rice. I have also seen several recipes that add the ground chuck into the mixture uncooked. However, that is just not my preference, but feel free to do so if you like. πŸ™‚
