What’s Up Wednesday

What’s Up at Home?

I’m happy to announce I’m now over being sick. Last week I had a virus and ended up with bronchitis. I went to the doctor (something I rarely do, as thankfully I’m not usually sick) and was given an inhaler and 3 days of Prednisone.  I’m also super happy that none of the kids ended up getting it! This week we are getting ready for Halloween and decorating out pumpkins.

This week we are getting ready for Halloween and decorating out pumpkins. I love looking at everyone’s pumpkin decorating and carving skills on Instagram! I think we are just going to keep it simple this year. Last year we had a lot of fun with the Crayon Drip Pumpkin, but I think this year we will just stick to the traditional carving, and maybe roast the pumpkin seeds.

I also can’t wait to take the kids trick or treating this year. Last year they had so much fun. My youngest was only a little over four weeks this time last year, so I know she will enjoy it much more this year!

What’s Up on the Blog?

Even though it’s still only October, I’m still gearing up for the Holidays and putting lots of time and effort into the holiday guides and giveaways. I can’t wait to share with you guys!

The first giveaway will start next week, and there will be at least one giveaway a week through November and most of December!

A little side note: as busy as I’m going to be with the holidays both at home and on the blog, I will probably stop posting What’s Up Wednesday every week for awhile. Instead, I will include what I’ve been up to at home and what’s coming up on the blog in my weekly newsletter that is sent out every Thursday.

The newsletter will also include links to any new giveaways and have exclusive subscriber content as well as posts from the week. If you haven’t signed up already, you can sign up here.

Even though I’ve been working on the Holiday Guides, I still have lots of recipes, decorating, and craft posts also coming up!

Hope everyone has a great week!
