What are some of your favorite childhood holiday memories growing up?
I’ve always loved the holiday season! Spending time with family, the decorations, baking yummy holiday treats, and of course when I was younger waking up to all the presents under the tree!
The holidays were always such a fun time growing up, and I cherish all the memories now. I remember helping decorate the tree; my mom always had it decorated so pretty all alongside my handmade ornaments that I made from school. She was also an amazing bow maker, and all the packages were always so pretty and coordinated. While we decorated the tree, we would also almost always have homemade sausage balls, which I also do now with my kids, while listening to Christmas music.
I love that I’m able to make special holiday memories now with my kids, and share some of the same traditions and also add new ones. Growing up I remember going to the mall and helping my mom pick out presents for everyone and sometimes we would buy new Christmas Pajamas or holiday outfits for pictures. This was back before the internet. Thank goodness now for the internet and online shopping!
While I still like going to the mall occasionally, it’s so nice to be able to shop from the comfort of my home and buy Christmas outfits for the kids at places like Gymboree. They have the most adorable Gymboree Holiday Toddler Collection for my two youngest girls and a Gymboree Holiday Girl Collection for my oldest daughter.

Gymboree also has several Mix and Match Holiday outfits that are perfect for the holidays and many stocking stuffer items for under $12!
No matter what, I know that this is still the best time of the year, and I can’t wait to share holiday traditions and hopefully many precious memories for years to come!
