It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Stitch Fix review; I believe this is the third unboxing I’ve done on the blog. I actually received another Stitch Fix back in the Summer, but had so much going on that I didn’t get around to posting. You can read my previous reviews here and here.
Here’s a quick rundown, just in case you are unfamiliar with Stitch Fix. Stitch Fix is a styling service, which delivers clothing, and accessories right to your door! The items they send are based on the profile you fill out when you sign up. Everything is picked out according to your style, budget, lifestyle and any request you have by your own personal stylist!
You pay a $20 styling fee for the shipment, but that amount is also deducted if you decide to keep anything. After you’ve tried everything on in the comfort of your own home, you simply keep what you like, pay the amount online for what you keep, and send the rest back in the prepaid envelope.
It’s actually really easy, and they offer free exchanges in case you receive something you love, but just need a different size!
As a mom, who doesn’t get to shop much for herself (it’s hard enough trying to take the kids to the store sometimes, let alone asking them to be patient while I try on clothes) Haha; I love the convenience of Stitch Fix! I’ve also had amazing stylists that really seem to listen and help me find the best outfits for my style and budget.
*Tip: It also helps if you have a Stitch Fix Pinterest board dedicated to styles you like. Your Stylist can then look at your board to get an idea of things you like or may want to try. You can check out my Stitch Fix Inspiration Board here if ya want. 😉
Here’s what I received for my December 2017 box. I have to say; this is probably my favorite Stitch Fix yet! My stylist did an amazing job picking things out to fit my style!
I was super excited to see the flannel and graphic tee in my shipment. I had requested a flannel shirt, graphic tee or anything relaxed and comfy to hang out with the kids, and that’s exactly what was sent!
Le Lis – Covington One Pocket Top
Price: $58
*Sent Back*
I actually loved everything about this flannel, and it was exactly what I had in mind when I asked for one. Unfortunately, I decided to send it back. We have some extra expenses this month, due to moving into a new house soon, and I’ve already spent quite a bit on the kids Christmas presents, so it just wasn’t in the budget this month. This top fits really well though, and felt like really good quality.
Fatima Graphic Knit Top
Price: $28
*Keep*
This is one of the coziest and softest tees I think I’ve ever tried on! It’s longer than an average tee, and I love the saying! I own another shirt that says, “BE THE GOOD” so this was right up my alley!
This shirt goes great with skinny jeans and a front tuck. If I’m really honest, it’s also great to wear around the house with yoga pants too! Not as stylish, but super comfy!!!
Derek Frayed Stepped Hem Distressed Skinny Jean
Price: $58
*Keep*
These fit me perfectly and I love the distressed look, so I decided to keep these too! I also really like the detail on the back pocket and the frayed hem.
Emory Pre-Layered Necklace
Price: $28
*Sent Back*
I really liked the look of this dangle necklace especially with the graphic tee, since it has a v neck. Unfortunately, my two-year-old has a habit of pulling on any necklace I try to wear, so it’s just not practical right now.
Toms Classic Canvas Slip Ons
Price: $48
*Sent Back*
I’m pretty sure I’m like the only one who doesn’t have at least one pair of Tom’s! I’ve always wanted a pair, but for some reason, always talked myself out of them.
I actually really contemplated keeping these, but with the Holidays and all, I had a budget in mind of what I was going to spend. I have a feeling I will buy some soon, maybe after the holidays, or even request them in my next Stitch Fix. They were super comfy, and I just love the pop of red they added to the outfit!
Quick pic outside on a Sunday, before spending the day with the kids.
I actually ended up wearing the items I decided to keep the rest of the day!
Overall, I loved everything I received this time from Stitch Fix. It perfectly fit my style and budget, and was just what I was looking for!
