Lavender & Rosemary Jumbo Sized Bath Bombs
Lavender & Rosemary Heart-Shaped Bath Bombs
We recently made these bath bombs for the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday, however, they would be cute anytime of year and make great gifts!
We used Jumbo sized heart-shaped molds, and they were HUGE! I actually ended up breaking one in half when I went to use it and it was still plenty!
You could also make this in standard silicone mold or other shaped molds. This recipe made 3 jumbo sized bath bombs, but it would easily make 6-10 using smaller molds.
If you’re looking for something to purchase, I would recommend using the silicone molds like the one here if you want to make the bath bombs into bigger heart shapes or the heart-shaped silicone molds here to make several smaller ones. You could also make these bath bombs using standard bath bomb molds and I think they would still be cute!
The DIY Chocolate Scrub with Labels here would also go great with these bath bombs!
Lavender & Rosemary Heart Shaped Bath Bombs
DIY Jumbo sized bath bombs perfect for Valentine's Day
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup epsom salt
- 3 tbsp jojoba oil
- 2 tsp water
- 6 drops lavender
- 4 drops rosemary
- optional colored sprinkles
- optional 3-4 drops red food coloring (to give it a red tint or you can use whatever color you desire)
Combine baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt and cornstarch in medium-sized bowl
In a separate small bowl combine jojoba oil, water, and lavender and rosemary essential oils
Add the liquid ingredients very slowly to the dry ingredients. Mix with hands. Slowly add the drops of red food coloring if you are going to use it.
The mixture should hold together in your hands without crumbling. If not, you can slowly add a few more drops of water until desired consistency.
Firmly pack mixture into the molds you are using. Let dry in molds for 24-48 hours. ***If you want to add sprinkles to the top of your bath bomb, place them at the bottom of your mold before adding mixture.**
When dry, remove from molds and store in airtight containers or package for gift giving.
