Cut the soap base into small chunks and microwave in a microwave safe bowl until fully melted. Check and stir in 30 second intervals. Usually takes around 5 minutes total but microwave time may vary. You can also melt the soap base in a double boiler instead of the microwave.

Carefully remove the melted soap base and let cool slightly. Add in the drops of lavender essential oil and lavender buds (if using)

Stir the soap mixture and pour into molds.

Allow the soap to harden and remove from the mold.
