Lately, I’ve been on a soap making kick and this lavender soap is my current favorite!
I use a melt and pour base and then just add in essential oils and other ingredients. The whole process takes around 20 minutes and couldn’t be easier! I have several bars I’ve made stored in the cabinet and they also make great little gifts.
One day I would love to make “real soap” with lye and with the pretty swirls and ridges, but I will admit, right now I’m a little intimidated by what all goes into that.
For right now, this melt and pour soap is fun, doesn’t require protective gear, and I love how easy it is to customize!
You can also choose from several different soap bases depending on your skin type such as a shea butter base, or goats milk soap.
This lavender soap makes a great gift and you can print out the labels to use below.
I also like to wrap my soap in either brown or clear parchment paper, but they also sell specialized soap wrappers on Amazon if you want to use that instead.
Supplies Needed:
Silicone Mold ( I use this)
.5 lbs Goats Milk Soap Base ( I use this)
10-20 Drops Lavender Essential Oil ( I use this)
