DIY Sensory Bottle
Sensory bottles are easy to make and my kids love them! They are actually great for all ages. My 7 year old loves to help pour in the glitter, and my younger two love to shake them! If I’m being honest, I like them too! I can’t help but give it a good shake and watch the pretty glitter and beads float around!
Many people also use them as a calm down jar. These work great especially when my younger ones start to get a little fussy in the afternoons.
Sensory bottles can be made with many items such as little trinkets, beads, and of course glitter! The possibilities are really endless!
We used purple glitter for this sensory bottle along with many of the items found in this Slime Supplies Foam Beads Making Kit found on Amazon. This kit has many items, including the items to make DIY slime.
We also used a small sized dish soap bottle and just glued the top shut with a glue gun. You can remove the labels and any sticky residue with Goo Gone. You could also use an empty water bottle or what you have on hand.
