DIY Furniture Polish
I hate to admit, but I don’t dust as often as I probably should. Luckily, we don’t have tons of wood furniture to polish. However, I noticed as the sun was shining through the house the other day all the places that could use a little dusting.
This DIY furniture polish is easy to make, smells lemon-y fresh and polishes furniture like a dream without using toxic chemicals!
I repurposed and used an empty 10 oz dishwashing liquid bottle and then just used a chalkboard sticker to label the front. It works great because it has a squirt top lid, which makes it easy to control the amount that comes out.
Tip: The essential oil can break down the plastic over time. If you plan on storing this, I recommend keeping it in a glass jar or container.
To Use: Shake before each use. Simply dip a soft cloth into the DIY Furniture Polish and polish in the direction of the grain on wood furniture. Be sure to do a spot test first if you are unsure.
