Get Ready!
Depending on the size of your Summer BBQ you may need to plan a few days to weeks before your get together.
- Find out how many people plan to attend, and figure out how much meat you will need, drinks, condiments, paper towels, etc…
- Make sure the grill is ready for use, including enough charcoal or gas, and that you have a set of barbecue tools.

Patriotic – Patriotic themed BBQs are especially popular on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day.

Farm to Table Farm to table spreads are becoming increasingly popular. Use natural decor items such as jute, bamboo, flowers, and plants. Serve guest fresh meats and cheese from local farmers.
You can also serve guests vegetables and herbs from your garden and have them bring a dish or item from their own garden if they have one.
Hawaiian
Break out the leis and grass skirts for a fun Hawaiian themed BBQ. Decorate with tiki torches and lanterns and serve foods such as Hawaiian chicken and grilled pineapples.
