Ingredients

  • 2 cups soy candle wax flakes
  • 40-50 drops gingerbread scented oil
  • 2 wood wicks
  • 2 4 oz glass containers

Instructions

  1. Begin by placing newspaper down for any spills. Hot glue or use stickers to place your wicks in the center of the jars you are using and set aside.

  2. In a microwave safe bowl melt the 2 cups of candle flakes in 30-45 second intervals. My wax melted in about 5 minutes total but microwave time may vary. You can also melt the wax using a double boiler on the stove. Use pot holders and caution when removing the hot wax.

  3. Allow the wax to cool slightly and add in the gingerbread scented oil.

  4. Slowly pour your scented wax into the glass containers.

  5. Let the candles sit for 24 hours without disturbing.

  6. Trim the wicks to 1/4 inch
